Your document stays in your browser.
PDFTovo is designed so the PDF you choose is processed on your device rather than uploaded to an application server for editing.
PDF files
When you choose a PDF, your browser reads the file locally. PDFTovo uses browser-side PDF libraries to render pages, store your temporary editing state in the current tab, and generate the edited PDF you download. The selected PDF is not sent to PDFTovo for document processing.
Temporary editing data
Edits such as text boxes, drawings, signatures and page order are kept in memory while the editor is open. Closing or refreshing the tab can remove that editing state. Export important work before leaving the page.
Third-party code delivery
The editor currently loads pinned versions of PDF.js and pdf-lib from the jsDelivr content-delivery network when the editor is first used. That network request can reveal ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser headers to the CDN, but PDFTovo does not send your selected PDF as part of that request.
Analytics and advertising
This build does not include analytics, advertising trackers, accounts, cookies for profiling, or server-side document storage. If those features are added later, this policy should be updated before they are enabled.
Signatures and inserted images
Signatures you draw and images you insert are processed in the browser and embedded into the exported PDF. They are not uploaded to PDFTovo for editing.
Visual cover is not secure redaction
The Cover tool places a white shape over visible content. It does not remove the underlying PDF text or objects. Do not use it to hide confidential data from someone who may inspect the PDF structure.
Contact and policy owner
Before public launch, add the legal operator/business name and a real support or privacy contact address here. A production privacy policy should identify who operates the service.
