Does PDFTovo upload my PDF?
No. PDF processing and export happen in your browser. The app code itself is loaded from the website, but the selected PDF is not sent to PDFTovo for editing.
Can it change text that already exists inside any PDF?
Not reliably in this release. PDFs are not Word documents, and arbitrary existing text can be embedded in complex ways. PDFTovo can add new text and visually cover content, but it does not claim universal Word-style rewriting of existing PDF text.
Does it add a watermark?
No. PDFTovo does not add its own watermark to your exported document.
What happens to an existing cryptographic PDF signature?
Editing a signed PDF changes the document and can invalidate an existing cryptographic/digital signature. Keep the original signed file and verify the exported copy before relying on it.
Will very large PDFs work?
Usually, but the practical limit depends on your device memory. PDFTovo renders one full page at a time to keep large documents more manageable. Extremely large or damaged PDFs may still fail to open.
Can I securely redact sensitive text?
Not yet. A visual white cover does not remove the underlying PDF content. Do not use the cover tool as secure redaction for confidential information.
